We have used Poolservice Company for over 16 years. They are extremely professional, reliable, and responsive to our requests. We have found them to provide personalized service and they give us advance notice of when they will be arriving which we requested because we have dogs. Sean O’Connor, their production manager, runs a very professional and organized operation. He has longevity with the Company and is extremely service-oriented. We highly recommend this Company

This review is for the expert pool repairman, Billy. He is a true professional, knowledgable about all pools, including an old pool built in the 80s. He is quick, knowledgeable, thorough, and I could not be happier with Billy. If you ever need a repair done to your pool, make sure you ask for Billy. If he happens to be booked for a while, believe me, his work is worth the wait. The prices are reasonable too.

You can expect professional, honest and affordable service from Poolservice Company. I’ve used three or four other companies to open and close my pool over the past fifteen years and discovered Pool Service around 3 years ago and have been very happy with their service ever since. I wound up needing a partial renovation and got a few estimates from other companies just to compare. I am very grateful I stuck with Pool Service as I needed help from every department for one reason or another and they were nothing but top shelf, thorough and professional. Highly recommend.

I needed some work done on the main drain at the bottom of my pool. The __ (Competitor) company came and advised – “must drain out 36,000 gal of water, then do the work, then refill with 36,000 gal. The cost of pool water alone – without labor is estimated at approximately $5,000.” Then Mr. Charlie of Poolservice Co. (703) 528-3400 stopped by for a second opinion; advises “he has been in the business 30 years, that their competitor’s whole approach was crazy.” He recommended just sending a diver down. I scheduled thru their front desk person – the polite Ms. Marie. Later, Poolservice Co sends their diver – good-humored professional Mr. Mark. He swam to bottom, worked underwater on the main drain for 15 – 20 minutes. We restart the pool – everything works well. A solid professional company by any measure.

Description of Work: They opened the pool and stored the mesh cover. This included assembling and starting the filter system and propane heater, plus the chemicals to bring the water into balance. They also brushed the sides. Vacuuming would have cost extra, so I opted to do that myself. I was home when they were here, but that is not a requirement. The technician is very pleasant, efficient, and informative.
